Principal Consultant: Rob has over 25 years’ experience of the electricity supply industry and railway electrification. With experience as a senior authorised person, control engineer and incident manager he has an excellent understanding of infrastructure and electrical safety principles. As an experienced programme manager and network operations manager his safety experience comes with a practical understanding of the risks and hazards associated with the electrification systems.
Rob is a qualified business coach and leadership development expert as well as a City and Guilds trainer and Assessor.
Senior Consultant: Jamie has over 20 years experience in rail construction – starting on the tools and progressing to the role of senior construction manager. He is a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety (IOSH) and a qualified City and Guilds Trainer and Assessor. He has practical experience of managing and delivering large scale, high value rail electrification and rail construction projects and an in depth understanding of the safety culture necessary to safely deliver works within the rail environment. He holds safety critical competencies such as COSS OLP, Machine Controller, Crane Supervisor, Cable Train Delivery Systems Trainer, HV Assessor and Competent Person and several other key railway competences. Jamie has practical experience of mentoring the workforce so enabling an improved safety culture.
Senior Consultant: Ian is a career railwayman with extensive experience across electrification and operations. He is an industry recognised expert on electrical control and isolation planning and has most recently been designing and delivering related training courses. As an experienced Electrical Control Manager he has contributed to the shaping of railway electrification safety rules and isolation planning process design. Ian holds various training qualifications and has extensive experience of niche electrification and control function training courses.
Project Consultant: Elena has extensive experience in project management predominately within the rail electrification sector. She also has diverse knowledge in managing shared services and leading core activities, such as Human Resources, IT, Marketing, HSQE and Asset Management. Her experience of working with multiple senior executives has provided Elena with excellent organisational skills, which has developed her ability to manage complex projects, resources and stakeholder’s expectations. She is a highly effective communicator and passionate about helping others through behavioural change programmes. She is certified in counselling and psychodynamic interpersonal skills, a mental health first aider and a member of the Association of Project Managers.
Senior Consultant: Richard started his career with British Rail over 40 years ago and is a highly experienced and accomplished railway electrification and operations professional. He is an industry recognised expert in DC electrical safety processes including isolations and control functions and well respected amongst his peers. Richard has provided SCADA training for Electrical Control Operators and Managers. Most recently, he has responsibility for delivering TPCMS training, which is the new supervisory system being introduced to all Network Rail Electrical Control Rooms. He is a dedicated, calm and reliable individual with a life-long career focused on service delivery, effective process management and technical training. Richard holds training qualifications and has extensive experience of niche electrification training courses.
Commercial Manager: Fiona has a background in financial administration and teaching which ensures her highly organised and meticulous approach makes her a trusted point of contact. She supports the development of the business as well as using her commercial and financial experience to maintain the business as a competitive and cost efficient operation. She is passionate about quality processes as well as developing collaborative supply chain relationships. Fiona is a qualified teacher with further certification in training/assessing and mental health first aid.
Technical Consultant: Warren has extensive experience in the measured survey industry for a wide range of clients. Within the measured survey profession he has gained a diverse knowledge in a wide range of survey techniques, project management and CAD software. He also has a wide range of knowledge in the IT and photography industries. Warren is an experienced drone (UAV) pilot with permission to fly from the CAA for commercial projects (PfCO). He is an advanced user of 3d laser scanners, total stations and GPS receivers. Warren holds qualifications in Civil Engineering, Revit (BIM level 2) and Autocad. He is passionate about the use of technology in the surveying and the railway industry, in particular the use of drones to gather data quickly and safely.
Media Technician: Matt started his career with LEEPS in 2017 after completing his Level 3 extended Diploma in Media Production. His media background provides him with a keen eye for editing and producing audio-visual equipment and materials. He is often found on site with Rob and Jamie, where he is increasing his knowledge about the Railway and producing high quality health and safety videos. Matt has a high attention to detail and apart from his appetite for working with digital technology, he is always eager to learn new skills which makes him a great addition to the LEEPS team.
